We specialize in boudoir photography, so for those lovely ladies who need ideas on what to bring and where to buy it, here you go!

What to bring for your session:
* COLOR! Bring lots of cute and fun sexy outfits with many different colors to choose from. Bright colors will photograph better. Big patterns are always better than smaller.
* Make sure you have entire coordinating outfits. Bring matching heels, jewelry, stalking, hair pieces, hats, etc. for each of your looks.
* Don't be scared to show off some skin. There are many sexy outfits to choose from. Show as much or as little as you feel comfortable. If you want to be topless or even nude, always remember it's YOUR shoot. These photos are for you to enjoy. Don't worry about me, I've seen it all. I'll make sure you look your best in every photo!
* PROPS! Bring them. I've seen everything from whips, chains, guns (not loaded please), lollipops, long beaded necklaces, footballs, golf clubs, etc. Being something to show of your hobbies or the hobby of that someone special ;)
* Make sure you practice posing! I will always give you direction and guide you into flattering poses, however the best subjects also spend a little time in front of the mirror before the shoot to practice their smiles, faces, angles and get their good side figured out. The less work I have to do there, the more time we have for different looks and outfits. Be confident, no one is perfect, just smile because after a bit of magic with editing you'll be more than pleased. Remember the stars don't even look as perfect as they do in magazines ;) We all need a little editing!
* Shoes! Heels are the way to go! Bright and colorful while matching with all your outfits is what you are after. I do disinfect shoes before use on the bed or couches just in case, but make sure they are pretty clean to not take away time from your shoot.
* Garter belts, not enough girls bring them and they are still oh so sexy! Also colorful stalking, pantyhose, and fishnets are great too.
* Nails, they do show up in photos! It's very hard to cover up nail polish chipped off in photos so I don't generally include that in my basic editing. I suggest treating yourself to a mani/pedi the night before or day of the shoot. Natural nails also don't look as great in photos as if they had some color. If you want natural at least put a high gloss with a light tint of pink or go with French tips. Pops of color like nails bring more interest to the photos.
* Hair, please do you hair! Long and sexy is the best look when it comes to boudoir shoots. Pinup looks can have more advanced updos, but that surely needs a pro. Set a salon appointment close by your shoot right before or if I have time before you available, you may have your hairstylist meet you at the shoot to style your hair depending on location of course.
* Makeup, very very important! The most important elements are your foundation (must be matte and photo ready) and your eyelashes (false or good mascara). Heavy editing takes a LOT more time and may incur more fees, so the better the canvas the better the editing and photos will look. I can include basic makeup for a fee or I also have a fabulous makeup artist that can come but she will cost $125. Most makeup artists will still require you bring some makeup for sanitary reasons and to keep your cost down. Such as lip products and eyeliner. The makeup artist will not be able to stay and reapply you lip products the entire shoot (unless of course you want to pay for their time to stay). So bring your lipstick, lip gloss, and lip liner! Always remember to check your lips and reapply between every outfit change.
*Comfort, I am a woman and I understand you may be scared when doing a shoot at my home studio. Rest assured you will just be with me, a woman. If I have an assistant, she will also be a woman. I find that bringing friends, bfs, husbands, etc. along with you to the shoot take away too much time and can make my clients very self conscious and not allow the kind of comfort they would otherwise have during a one on one shoot. For this reason I no longer allow guests to the shoot. But you are free to come meet with me at my home studio prior to the shoot to see the place and assess your level of comfort before you decide to book with us.
BOUDOIR PARTIES/ GIRLS NIGHT OUT SHOOTS:
These events are a great way to get your photography at a lower cost. Arrange for a group of 4 or more girls and you quality for a group discount. Groups may shoot at a hotel room(must be booked in advance by ladies organizing event, and double bed rooms usually offer the most space for a shoot with an area for the other girls to get ready). WEDDINGS:
Wedding packages normally include 2 photographers, unless otherwise stated. Our style is photojournalism. Please see examples of our work in the galleries. Our style is candid, non-posed, and meant to capture the emotion of the moment. We will capture the small details and décor as well. Focusing on the event as a whole and using the photography as a way to relive and feel the full emotional energy of the day for years to come. Photojournalists capture images that tell a story. If you are looking for very posed photos, you may need to search for a studio photographer. They will stage you and pose you while bringing many lights and equipment to in a sense...bring the studio to you.
We offer this style only in our studio and private sessions.
For weddings, we prefer to come armed with our many lenses, and work with our professional on camera lights for easy mobility and to fade into the background as much as possible. We will also dress in black with comfortable clothing so we may maneuver when needed with ease.
We recommend for weddings to do photojournalism style photography for the wedding day as well as separate shoots for the bride and groom with their wedding attire and/or a trash the dress session after the wedding. Both sessions can be completed in a single day of shooting ;)
MATERNITY | NEWBORN | INFANT:
Moms to be- Please contact me before 28 weeks to reserve your maternity and newborn session. Maternity sessions are best around or before 32 weeks. Newborn sessions should take place before the baby is 10 days old.
