I am woman, hear me purr! Welcome to my world where art meets passion and creativity.
What you must first understand about me is that I can be rather eccentric. While I do a few creative things professionally, I am also an organized perfectionist. Whether capturing a baby shower, a Bat Mitzvah or a wedding, each picture is taken with special attention to detail and with great care. At Persian Kitty Kat Photography, you can only expect the best in quality and service.
I'm BIG on being green and using eco-friendly, recycled and sustainable materials. I'm switching over EVERYTHING to being eco-friendly. Down to the recycled paper used for my business cards, albums, and the fabulous-in-every-way sustainable cotton and recycled papers I offer for prints. They even come with artsy torn edges if you like...swoon!!!
I still ofer not so green options for the client on a budget, but I HIGHLY recommend the eco-friendly products. Not only because you are doing something good for the environment, but because they are AMAZING, FINE ART QUALITY, LAST just as long, and you just have to FEEL their wonderful TEXTURES.
When I photograph a wedding I do so in photojournalist style. I try to capture the emotions and tell the story while intruding as little as possible. I sneak up and capture moments to later show the bride a groom a side of their friends, families and themselves they would otherwise have missed.
For weddings I will have a second shooter photographer. In fact I highly recommend making sure you have a second shooter (or third even). A wedding is too important not to have at least two trained wedding photographers shooting you. For most events my husband is my second shooter. His is a great photographer in his own right. See his pictures below :) When he is not avaialble I get help from my equally talented photographer friend whom I've known since we were in middle school.
When I capture family, pet, senior and all portraits, I enjoy adding more to the session with props, clothing changes and of course scenery. I even offer stylized theme shoots for those who want to take their photography to the next level.
Imagine a family holiday card stylized and themed to look like western or a Victorian royal family. How about an engagement session styled like a vintage picnic? Share your ideas, no matter how off beat, and we will make it happen.
Boudoir photography is one of my specialties along with weddings. I love making a woman feel sexy. All women are beautiful and have a little sexy in them. I enjoy bringing it out along with the excitement their someone special gets when they see the finished photos!
I express my creativity in my unique editing style. I treat each photo as a separate piece of art. I custom design books and albums as well as mounts and canvas prints. I love to present my photography in a way that complements your own personal style and fits perfectly within your home. I’ve made calendars, mugs, stamps, stickers and more using my photography for personalized events such as weddings, save the dates, birth announcements, graduations and more. I look forward to hearing your ideas and brainstorming how we can make them a reality.
